for help at Foster’s Toys, he runs into Randy Grant,

the year he gets the holiday he’s always longed for?

Share with us the first piece you ever wrote - talk about how you’ve grown as a writer and what you’ve learned from it.

The very first piece I ever wrote is a novel entitled Master of the Revels.  I started it in January 2007.  It is no longer in print, but if you want a copy, I will send you one.  You have to promise not to hold it against me.
After more than 200 novels, novella, short stories, poems, songs, articles, and just about anything else you can think of, I’ve learned a great deal.    I know I’ve grown as a writer.  My stories are more detailed and interesting with better plots and richer characters.  The words flow more freely and I’m not afraid to take a chance and see if it pays off.  I also know that northing is out of reach.  I can write any story that comes in my head and not have to worry if its too much or if I could do it justice.  In short with experience comes confidence and I really like that.
Those early stories were set in places I knew well and since then I’ve travelled in my imagination around the world and explored cultures that I could never hope to actually visit.   As a writer, I can take trips in my imagination and through my stories, I get to take the reader right along with me.
In short, my writing world has grown and expanded to places and people I never imagined.
